PRECAUTIONS:
The performance of the emulsifier is closely linked to the nature and consistency of the base oil used. Naphthenic oils generally emulsify with ease; however, Group I and Group ll paraffinic grades are strongly recommended for manufacturing cutting oils due to their predictable emulsification behavior. Variations in base oil quality or sourcing may impact results and minor adjustments—typically with Oleic Acid—can help correct such deviations. Water hardness also influences emulsion behavior. ROLPON COE 70 remains stable up to approximately 1000 ppm of commonly occurring calcium or sodium salts. Excessive chlorides or unusual salt content may cause emulsification challenges. If such conditions exist, the product can be tailored to meet specific stability requirements, potentially requiring additional stabilizing additives. As with all emulsifier systems, microbial activity may develop over time. Although the product contains an integrated biocide/fungicide package, periodic reinforcement every three weeks is advisable to control microbial growth and prevent odor or spoilage issues.
PRECAUTIONS:
The aboveinformation is based on current technical insight and is intended as general guidance. Users should verify product suitability under their own operating conditions. No warranty of specific performance is implied.
